You might see the cache or your GPS pointing a "10 ft. in front". But PLEASE don't dare to approach it from the (obvious) front-side!
Let your comrade do a 100-feet-walk-back-to-the-north and the crawling through the plants - depending on the time of the year: In a six-footers height.
